3.     The What A Life program on Personal Integrity was very excited about the great response to the first posted Situation regarding the school store.  Thank you to everyone who participated.  There is a new Situation up today so remember to post a response if you have some advice to offer.

Peer Pressure can be a big challenge to Personal Integrity, even for adults.  So we've posted some new quotes that you can think about next time you are in a situation where your integrity tells one thing and your peers tell you something else.

One says:  "Great minds discuss ideas. Average minds discuss events. Small minds discuss people."  Try to remember this next time you are tempted to gossip.

Another quote says: “Repairing a reputation is considerably more difficult than keeping a good one. It is like putting toothpaste back into the tube.”   Your reputation is something that you will always have…it is not going away.  Make sure your reputation is the right reflection of you, and if it's not, why not start changing it!

Lastly, even if you're still not 100% sure what personal integrity is, you can probably easily spot someone who doesn't have it. These are the people who you'll find in The Dog House.  Draco Malfoy is in there now, because he is a great example of someone who only thinks about himself and what he wants.

4.     On this day in 1835, Andrew Jackson becomes the first American president to experience an assassination attempt.
