1.     Today’s lunch is Cheese/Salsa Hot Pocket, low fat white or chocolate milk, and assorted fruits and vegetables.

 

2.     Attention Dance Club members.  Dance Club will have a special guest teacher on today.  Come if you can make it.  We will not meet this Thursday.

3.     The Writing Club will not meet this week. We will continue working on the first edition of the Bulldog Press next week.

 

4.     On this day in 1867, the U.S. formally takes possession of Alaska after purchasing the territory from Russia for $7.2 million, or less than two cents an acre.

5.     On this day in 1767, Charles Mason and Jeremiah Dixon complete their survey of the boundary between the colonies of Pennsylvania and Maryland as well as areas that would eventually become the states of Delaware and West Virginia.
