Announcements for Friday, January 29, 2010

1.)              Lend A hand will be going to the Timothy School on February 11th.  If you are interested in participating, please pick up a permission slip outside room 121.

 

2.)              Attention all Jazz Ensemble members: We will not be rehearsing this week.  Jazz Band will still meet.  Please see Mr. Szymendera if you have any questions.

 

 

3.)              Congratulations to the 8^th grade boys’ basketball team as they defeated Eisenhower 39 to 24.  The entire team played an outstanding game.  Way to go Bulldogs!

 

 

4.)              Students attending the Wharton Esherick field trip next week are reminded to submit their permission slips ASAP...

1.)              Congratulations to the 8th grade boys’ basketball team as they defeated Upper Merion 52 to 14.  The entire team played an outstanding game.  Way to go Bulldogs!

 

2.)              On this day in 1901, the death of Queen Victoria ends an era in which most of her British subjects know no other monarch. Her 63-year reign was the longest in British history.

 

3.)              On this day in 1973, former President Lyndon Baines Johnson dies in Johnson City, Texas, at the age of 64.

 

Announcements for Thursday, January 21, 2010

1.)              5/6 Play Practice today is for all students in scenes 4,5,6,7.  Check the character/scene list out side of Mrs. Bellopede’s room if you have any questions.  Stage crew does not need to report to practice.

 

2.)              Congratulations to the 8^th grade boys’ basketball team as they defeated East Norriton 42 to 37.  The entire team played an outstanding game.  Way to go Bulldogs!

 

3.)              The writing club will meet today in Mr. Mattison's room, 109 at the end of the day to celebrate the completion of the first edition of the paper.

 

4.)              All members of the Model UN who are attending the Art Museum Field Trip should report to the Front doors by the main office at 8:40 this morning.

 

 

Announcements for Tuesday, January 19, 2010

1.)                5/6 Play practice is for all students in scenes 1,2,3.  Stage crew members do not need to report to play practice.  There is a character/scene list hanging outside Mrs. Bellopede’s room 206 if you have any questions.

 

 

2.)                Don't forget it's Tuesday and that means Ping Pong Club.  Stop by Mr. Snell's room right after school and get ready to play!  See you there.

 

 

3.)                Crazy Hair Day has been moved to next Friday, January 29th because of the fundraising for this week.

 

 

4.)                All HR Reps…you will have a brief meeting today.  7th and 8th graders, please come to Room 234 during your activity period today.  5th and 6th graders please go to room 106, Mrs. Rickel's room, during your activity today.  We will be going though information on our Haiti fundraising efforts, so please make sure someone from your homeroom attends.
