7.  Our school has decided to recycle empty Capri Sun pouches for a company called Terracycle. Terracycle recycles used packages and turns them into a variety of products like backpacks, pencil cases, and even kites. Over 185 Terracycle products are for sale at Target, Kmart and other stores. Your empty Capri Sun pouches can be donated to the bin under the TV in the cafeteria. We send the used pouches to Terracycle to make products and, in return, for every 100 Capri Sun pouches we send we will raise $2. All of the money we raise goes to charity. In fact, Terracycle has already raised over a million dollars for charities around the world. For more information on how to outsmart waste, you can go to www.terracycle.net
