Announcements for Friday, February 25, 2011

1.     Lunch Today: Individual pizza, assorted fruit and vegetables and low fat white or chocolate milk

 

2.     Spring Sports are right around the corner. Stop by the Main Office to pick up your forms...Forms must be completed before practice begins

 

3.     Attention all spring athletes - ImPACT testing is required for all students playing lacrosse and is optional for those playing baseball, softball, or track.  If you have never had an ImPACT test, please go to the alien lab after school on Tuesday, March 1 or Tuesday, March 8, to be eligible to participate this spring.  See Miss Hickey if you have any questions.

 

4.     Attention Dance Club Members-the Dance Club party is post poned until next Thursday, March 3.  Please remember to bring your supplies.

 

5.     On February 25, 1964, 22-year-old Cassius Clay shocks the odds-makers by dethroning world heavyweight boxing champ Sonny Liston in a seventh-round technical knockout. Clay, who was the descendant of a runaway Kentucky slave, rejected the name originally given to his family by a slave owner and took the Muslim name of Muhammad Ali.
