Announcements for Friday, November 18, 2011

  1. Today’s lunch is Chili Cheese Wraps, low fat white or chocolate milk, and assorted fruits and vegetables.

 

  1. All after school activities are cancelled for next week, Nov. 21- 25

 

  1. All FLITE bookmark contest entries are due to the art department by today. Be sure to write you name and grade on the back of your form.

 

  1. Due to elementary conferences on Monday, 11/21 and TEMS conferences on Tuesday, Nov. 22, there will be NO 5/6 shuttle bus or FLITE bus next week.

 

  1. Attention all 6th graders going on the Flyers trip...the meeting for the trip is today during Activity in Mr. Allison's room. If you are going on the trip, please plan to attend. Attendance will be taken.

 

  1. Attention 5th Graders!  The results are in for the 5th Grade Math Night estimating jar contest!  The students with the closest guesses for the number of items in the jars are as follows:  The Hershey Kisses jar:  James Naser – TEMS – guess:  455, actual:  467  The Pasta jar:  Jessica Hao – VFMS – guess:  1390, actual:  1588 The winners will split the contents of the Hershey Kisses jar.  Congratulations!
