1.     Today’s lunch is baked breaded chicken, assorted fruits and vegetables, and low-fat white or chocolate milk.

 

2.     Helping Hands would like to thank all who came out to support our bake sale.  We raised over $500! We couldn’t have done it without out you.  Thank you for supporting your community.  Helping Hands would also like to thank our members who helped out at the bake sale as well as those who attended our trip to the Bethesda Broadstreet Shelter this past Monday.  Your helping hands were much appreciated!

 

3.     Rehearsal for Cinderella today is LEADS only.  See you after school!

 

4.     On this day in 2007, Beijing, China, the capital city of the planet's most populous nation, gets its first drive-through McDonald's restaurant.

 

5.     Attention 7th grade Spelling Bee Winners:  Please go to Mr. Boulalik’s room, room 130, during activity today for the spell off.

 

6.     On this day in 1807, Confederate General Robert Edward Lee is born in Westmoreland County, Virginia. Lee commanded the Army of Northern Virginia during most of the Civil War and his brilliant battlefield leadership earned him a reputation as one of the greatest military leaders in history as he consistently defeated larger Union armies.
