Announcements for Wednesday, January 18, 2012

1.     Today’s lunch is meatball parmesan on a sub roll, assorted fruits and vegetables, and low-fat white or chocolate milk.

 

2.     Thank you to all of you for your help with the casserole drive, it was another great year, 200 casseroles were distributed to The Bernadine center, Bethesda, St David’s Church and Wayne Presbyterian.

 

3.     On this day in 1919 in Paris, France, some of the most powerful people in the world meet to begin the long, complicated negotiations that would officially mark the end of the First World War.

 

4.     Helping Hands will meet today after school in room 208.  Come if you can make it.

 

5.     There will be a yearbook camera pick up opportunity today immediately following the close of school in the Tech Ed room.

 

6.     Today in 1912, after a two-month ordeal, the expedition of British explorer Robert Falcon Scott arrives at the South Pole only to find that Roald Amundsen, the Norwegian explorer, had preceded them by just over a month. Disappointed, the exhausted explorers prepared for a long and difficult journey back to their base camp.
