1.     Today’s lunch is Pizza Dippers with Marinara Sauce, assorted fruits and vegetables, and low-fat white or chocolate milk.

 

2.     Helping Hands will meet today after school in room 208.

 

3.     Congratulation to the 8^th grade boys’ basketball team as they defeated Welsh Valley 37 to 28, the entire team played an outstanding game. Way to go Bulldogs!

 

4.     Yearbook staff please note, we will have a very brief meeting today, after school in the Tech Lab, 5 minutes at most. If you have a camera bring it with you please and thank you.….

 

5.     On this day in 1861, Texas becomes the seventh state to secede from the Union when a state convention votes 166 to 8 in favor of the measure.

 

6.     On this day in 2003, the space shuttle Columbia breaks up while entering the atmosphere over Texas, killing all seven crew members on board.

 

7.     On February 7^th, 8^th and 9^th TEMS will be participating in American Heart Associations Jump Rope for Heart in 5^th and 6^th grade and Hoops for Heart in 7^th and 8^th grade.  We now go to a video for Hoops for Heart…
