Announcements for Thursday, May 13, 2011

1.     Today’s lunch is Pepperoni Pizza, assorted fruits and vegetables with low fat white or chocolate milk.

 

2.     Congratulations to those who participated in the track meet yesterday. Today, 7th and 8th grade will practice.

 

3.     Help save the blue whale!  Buy cookies and candy after school today in the bus dismissal area.  All items are 50 cents or $1.00.  Keep the blue whales' voices from being silenced forever!

 

4.     Attention Forensics Club Members:  The competition is on Tuesday, so be prepared.  On Tuesday morning, we will meet in the lobby by the auditorium and we will board the bus at 7:45 a.m.  Please dress appropriately for the competition, and bring a lunch and all necessary materials.  Any students who have not submitted permission forms, please do so as soon as possible.  See Mr. Gately in room 203 with any questions.

 

5.     This afternoon, students will be selling refreshments at the girls’ lacrosse games at Teamer Field.  All proceeds will be donated to charity.  Please consider bringing a couple of dollars to today’s games for refreshments and to support a good cause.

 

6.     The 8th grade boys' lacrosse team beat Haverford Middle School yesterday by a score of 7-4.  Sam F. and Greg T. each had two goals, and Luke T., Ted P., and John P. each had one goal.  Quinn B. and Ryan D. each had two assists, and Greg T. and Ted P. each had one assist. 

 

7.     Attention 8th graders….The Memories 2011 DVD is now on sale.  Relive all your favorite memories of TEMS again and again.  Battle of the Bulldogs, Seussical Jr, Williamsburg, Faculty vs. Students basketball game, field trips, and other memorable events, as well as many student interviews are all here.  This program will be shown only once on June 16th, but for only $10. a DVD will be made just for you.  See Mr. Veroneau in room 212 to reserve your copy of Memories 2011.  And now for a preview of the 8^th Grade Memories Video.
