Announcements for Monday, October 17, 2011 - Day 1

1. Today’s lunch is Belgian Waffle Stix & Sausage Patty, low fat white or chocolate milk, and assorted fruits and vegetables.

 

2. Attention Dance Club members.  Dance Club will have a special guest teacher on Tuesday.  Come if you can make it.  We will not meet this Thursday.

 

3. A new group will begin for students who want to create underwater sea creatures from yarn. It is called the Crocheting Coral Reef Project. The group will make objects that look like plants and animals. They will meet in room 203 after school on Mondays. The first meeting is October 17^th. See Mrs. Cook with any questions.

 

4. On this day in 1931, gangster Al Capone is sentenced to 11 years in prison for tax evasion and fined $80,000, signaling the downfall of one of the most notorious criminals of the 1920s and 1930s.

 

5. Friday was the last day for Rosie's Run collections at TE Middle School, but you can always show your support.  Visit the Chester County SPCA website at www.ccspca.org  Go to "Support" and then "Items we need".    Thank you to everyone who gave their time, energy and supplies during TE's Rosie's Run drive.  Rosie, thank you for your years of service to TE Middle School!
